When Jim Gilbert began crafting the recipes that would ultimately become Bluegrass Gourmet BBQ Sauces, he strived to create flavors that would represent the different characteristics of American barbecue…the smokiness of Memphis…the sweetness of Kansas City…the spiciness of Texas…and the tartness of Carolina.

The awards, accolades, and loyal following of satisfied customers that followed served as evidence that Jim achieved his goal with his unique sauces that are the perfect complement to a wide variety of smoked or grilled meats.

We are proud to carry on the rich tradition of Bluegrass Gourmet BBQ Sauce that Jim began in Summersville, West Virginia many years ago.

Ketchup (tomato concentrate, high fructose corn syrup, distilled vinegar, corn syrup, salt), brown sugar, molasses, hot peppers, natural hickory smoked flavor, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, fruit puree, mustard, and special spice blend.
